I'm passionate about teaching preschool!
Hi! I'm Miss Shannon and I'm the owner of Roots and Flight Academy. In addition to all the fantastic teachers in Preschool Club, I'll be your child's personal preschool teacher. So after you join, I'll stay in close contact to make sure you have a great experience!
For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher. With both a BA in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California and over 20 years of experience in early childhood, I have a passion for nurturing and engaging young learners. I believe in teaching the whole child through play with a focus on social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and resiliency especially for military children like my own! I love traveling to new places and reading historical fiction.
